To replace the gear selector cables on a Fiat Multipla, lift the cover of the gear lever to remove it completely: this will give you access to the upper end of the cable, which can then be disconnected from the corresponding selector. At this point, you will have access to the end located at the gearbox: by loosening this end as well, you can completely remove the old cable, insert the new one, and secure it. This will ensure that the gearbox functions better.
