Replace the Key Battery in a Ford Fiesta

To replace the battery in the electronic key of a 2012 Ford Fiesta, first remove the cover of the remote on the side with the Ford symbol. Extract the physical key contained inside, then use a flat-head screwdriver to open the remote by prying at the side slot, taking care not to damage the plastic tabs. Once opened, still using the screwdriver, remove the flat battery and replace it with a new one. Reassemble the remote by gently pressing to snap the two sides together, reinsert the physical key into its housing, and reposition the cover.
