How to replace the battery in a Ford Fiesta key remote? In this video, see how to proceed with the battery replacement. Take your key remote and use a small screwdriver to pry at the cap of the cover until it detaches. Remove the worn battery from its housing, and take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the battery in the remote cover, and finally close it with the plastic cap. Check the remote's proper functioning by pressing the door opening and closing buttons.
