How to Replace the Key Battery for the Ford Fiesta

To change the battery in the remote key for the Ford Fiesta, you will need a small flathead screwdriver and a new CR 2032 3V battery. First, open the key using the designated button. Once opened, use the small screwdriver to pry off the part of the remote shell where the manufacturer's logo is located by inserting the screwdriver into the small slot where the key was and gently prying upwards. Once the cover is lifted on one side, leverage the centre to remove the cover from the other side. Use the screwdriver to lift the battery out, replace it with the new battery in the same orientation as the old one. Now, you can reassemble the cover and return the key to its case.
