How the GMG Sierra taillights dim

We will see how to customize the GMG Sierra taillights by making them dark. Before proceeding, let's get a pair of rubber gloves, denatured alcohol, a roll of paper and blackout spray paint for lights. Let's start by disassembling the pair of lights from the vehicle, first unscrewing the screws that support each optical unit and then the bulb holder of each light. We take the lights indoors, possibly at medium temperature, taking care to place a cardboard underneath to avoid getting dirty. We pour a little alcohol on a piece of paper and we go to treat the whole surface of the light, thus eliminating the traces of dirt and paint, and finally we remove the excess product with another paper. Once completed, we wait about half an hour for everything to dry. We put on the gloves and go get our spray can. We always follow the instructions on the outside of the package; usually it will be required to shake it vigorously to mix the product well inside. We do an initial spray test on a small section of the backing board, to adjust the distance of the spray and the speed of application. So let's go and give horizontal and homogeneous passes on the lighthouses. Depending on the product, with two or three coats we will achieve the desired effect. Let it dry following the instructions on the can and then repeat the procedure by spreading other hands orthogonally to what was done previously; in this way we will have distributed the paint evenly. Once everything has dried, let's reassemble the lights by following the disassembly procedure in reverse.
