Replacing the bulbs in the rear headlight, or the headlight itself, in a GMC Sierra is a very simple and quick task. First, open the tailgate and remove the two screws securing the headlight with a Phillips screwdriver.

Once done, pull the headlight out from the body by pulling it towards you and outward. To remove the bulb holder, simply rotate it counterclockwise by 90 degrees; to install, rotate it clockwise.

After replacing the faulty bulb, reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
