To change the motor oil of a Honda CRF 300L, start by positioning the motorcycle on a stable stand to ensure it is level. Locate the oil drain plug, located at the bottom of the engine, and remove it using an appropriate wrench. Allow the used oil to completely drain into a suitable container. Once all the oil has been drained, replace the drain plug, tightening it securely. Next, access the oil fill cap, which is usually located at the top of the engine. Remove the cap and pour the new motor oil through the opening, using a funnel to prevent spills. Make sure to fill up to the capacity recommended by the manufacturer. Replace the fill cap and start the engine for a few minutes to allow the oil to circulate and check for any leaks. Finally, turn off the engine and check the oil level to ensure it is correct.

Changing the Oil and Filter on the Kawasaki Versys

Here’s how to change the oil and filter on the Kawasaki Versys. Warm up the engine for a few minutes, place the motorcycle on the centre stand, open the filler cap, and remove the drain plug underneath the engine. Place a catch basin under the oil sump, unscrew the drain plug, and let the oil drain out. Unscrew the oil filter and let all the old oil drain out. Install a new filter and tighten it with the appropriate tool. Pour half a glass of new oil into the filler cap and wait for it to flow out of the drain hole, after which replace the plug. Fill with approximately 1.8 litres of new oil, take it for a short ride to circulate the oil in the engine, stop the engine, and check the level through the designated window. Top up if necessary.
