In this tutorial we can see how to replace the battery in the Honda VT 750 Shadow Spirit, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure that the key is not inserted, in order to operate safely, then remove the seat by unscrewing the two side bolts. Next, remove the plastic cover of the battery, unscrew the screws of the power terminals and, starting from the negative, disconnect both of them. At this point, we can remove the old battery from the housing, insert the replacement one and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.

To remove the final drive from a BMW R 1200 GS, loosen the bolts securing the exhaust so it can be removed along with the rear wheel. The rear wheel will also be removed by unscrewing the five bolts that secure it to the swingarm. Next, detach the brake caliper by unscrewing the mounting bolts and remove the rear part of the swingarm.
