Periodically check the following factors: battery voltage, engine oil level, drive chain and brake pad wear. Raise the rear wheel before starting. Check that the play in the drive chain is no more than 40 mm. Lubricate the chain itself at least every 1000 km. Check the oil level from the small window specially placed in the hull: if it is low, top it up. The battery voltage can be checked with a cheap tester. A final element to check is the tire pressure through the gauge.

How to replace the front brake pads of the Ducati Multistrada 1200

Today's guide will show us the main steps useful for disassembling and replacing the front brake pads of the Ducati Multistrada 1200. First of all, we put our motorcycle on the central stand and start unscrewing the fastening screws of the front brake caliper, in order to remove it from the disc; then we remove the two locking pins of the brake caliper, using pliers with pointed tips, as shown in the video. At this point, we remove and replace the brake pads with new ones, of the right type; we first clean the caliper from the residual dirt, thus installing the brake caliper!
