Allow all the oil in the system to drain out, then unscrew the filter cap with a 17 mm spanner and clean it of any dirt residue. At this point, reassemble everything and pour in the new oil through the designated hole.

How to Replace the Engine Oil and Oil Filter on an Aprilia RSV 1000
