To replace the gear knob on the Honda CR-V, you need to detach the front part of the gear knob by prying it off with a thin object. Once this cover is removed, you can loosen the screws underneath; this will allow you to completely remove the knob by sliding it off the top of the gear lever. After the old knob is removed, you can fit the new one onto the gear lever and secure it with the screws you previously removed; finally, cover these with the plastic panel.
