Operation: How do you replace the camshaft position sensor on a Jeep Patriot?

To replace the camshaft position sensor on a Jeep Patriot, you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment. You will need to detach the plastic cover that covers the top of the engine block. This way, you will be able to locate the camshaft position sensor immediately behind the coils. By disconnecting the connector connected to it, you can remove the old sensor from its housing and replace it with a new one. After the replacement, you can reconnect the connector and cover everything with the plastic panel of the engine block.
