To replace the camshaft position sensor of the Jeep Patriot, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: you will need to detach the plastic cover that conceals the top of the engine block. This will allow you to locate the camshaft position sensor immediately behind the coils: by disconnecting the connector attached to it, you can remove the old sensor from its housing and replace it with a new one. After replacement, reconnect the connector and cover everything with the plastic panel of the engine block.
