How to Reset the Service Light on Jeep Grand Cherokee

Model: Jeep Grand Cherokee WK, MK 3, WH - Years 2004-2010
Part: Service warning light

If the service warning light illuminates on the instrument cluster display, it is time for maintenance. Once the service has been performed, resetting the light is a manual procedure using the buttons on the central console, above the climate control commands:
- Turn on the ignition and press the C/T button to display the compass and temperature;
- Press the STEP button to display the maintenance interval;
- Press the RESET button for at least 3 seconds to reset the light;
- Turn off the ignition;
Upon the next ignition, check that the reset has been successful.
