Let's see how to disassemble the fairing of the Kawasaki Versys 1000: we start by removing the bolts from the lower part of the fairing, near the engine, then we go all around the fairing, from the bottom, to remove all the various screws in the dark part of the plastics, and gradually, the clips that come off by removing the screws, always in the lower part. We will also find electrical connectors to disconnect, and once the dark part is removed, cross screws inside to unscrew. Keep track of all the bolts, to make sure not to lose anything, and possibly take photos to make sure to put all the parts back in place; repeat everything on the other side and then remove the seat, so that we can remove the tail, then remove all the bolts around the seat to remove the bodywork that is around it, from both sides. Now we have to remove the lower fairing from both sides. We remove the bolts from the windshield, then we move on to unscrew the front part; below there are four bolts that hold the windshield support. Now it's the turn of the front part of the headlights, which is held by long internal screws, and then by others on the top. Once the front part is removed from both sides, disconnecting the electrical connectors, we remove the display, also disconnecting the electrical connectors and clips that hold the piece to the frame.
