In this tutorial, you will learn how to change the engine oil in a Royal Enfield 500, an extremely simple and quick operation to be performed every 12 months. First, ensure that the engine is cold, then place a container underneath and, using a 10mm socket, unscrew the two bolts related to the drain holes.

Once the oil has drained from the system, open the filter cap using the same socket, insert the replacement, and reassemble everything in reverse order. Finally, pour in new 15W50 oil through the upper hole.
