To replace the battery in a Ducati Hypermotard, you need to loosen the screws that secure the seat to its housing: these will be located on the sides of the seat, which can then be completely removed. The battery underneath can now be freed from its housing by unscrewing the screws and disconnecting the power cables: this will allow you to insert the new replacement part into its place.

Connect it with the appropriate power cables and secure it with the screws to cover everything with the seat.
