How do you replace the battery of the Ducati Hypermotard?

The replacement of the Ducati Hypermotard battery is carried out by turning the key inside the side lock of the bike, which will allow the saddle to be raised. At the rear of the compartment under the saddle, you will then be able to find the panel that covers the battery. This will be accessible by detaching the panel and disconnecting the power cables: once the screws have also been removed, it will be possible to completely remove the old battery and replace it with a new one. In order to bleed the Gilera Nexus 500 brakes, you need to open the drawer that is located in correspondence with the knob, unscrewing the fixing screws of the cover. Once this has been opened, it will be possible to insert a small tube inside the vent on the brake caliper: therefore, by opening the valve, the brake fluid can be collected inside a container. When all the fluid has flowed out, it will be possible to fill in the new brake oil from the vent that was previously opened by removing the cover next to the knob.
