Let's see how to replace the oil and filter on a Kawasaki Versys. Position the bike on the side stand (if you don't have a centre stand), unscrew the oil filler cap; using a socket, unscrew the bolt of the oil sump on the right side of the bike near the exhaust (drain the fluid into a container for disposal). Refill the new fluid into the engine using a funnel and close with the plastic cap (use oil recommended by the manufacturer). Check the oil level with the transparent indicator on the oil sump. Check the functioning of the bike.
