Guide to Removing Speakers and Related Wiring

Model: Kia Sportage MK 1, JA - Years 1993-2002
Part: Speaker

You may encounter issues with the audio system or want to replace the speakers with more powerful ones. Let's detail the steps for removing and possibly replacing them, and how to install wiring to connect the stereo audio to a caravan or trailer. Open the boot lid, starting from the driver's side, and remove the cover panel by pulling it towards you from the designated slot. To remove the speaker, unscrew the screws and disconnect the wiring as shown in the guide. If you want to replace it, you can carefully pull it out; otherwise, the video shows how to connect the cable that will carry audio to the trailer. The wiring is housed within the plastics of the boot; to remove them, simply unscrew all the screws indicated in the video and repeat the same procedure for the passenger side speaker.

Timing Belt Replacement on Audi Q5

The timing belt on the Audi Q5 has reached its mileage limit, so what should you do? Let's go through the removal of the belts on the Q5. Open and lift the hood of the engine, then remove the engine soundproofing panel. Once these steps are completed, remove the plastic covers of the belts located on the left side of the engine. Loosen the second tensioner and slide the belt out of its seat. After installing the new belt, use a wrench to install the tensioner pulley, and tighten it until the belt has the correct tension (install both belts). Reinstall the covering plastics. Start and test the Audi Q5 engine.
