Replacing the External Mirror on Kia Picanto

Model: Kia Picanto MK 3, JA - Years 2018-2026

Using a plastic wedge, pry off the cover located at the level of the mirror but inside the door, as shown in the video. At this point, you have access to the three screws securing the cover: unscrew them. Remove the cover and place the new mirror in position, then proceed in reverse by screwing in the fixing bolts and reassembling the plastic. If you only need to replace the glass, pry it off from behind with the plastic lever and disconnect the wires, which you will need to connect to the new mirror before snapping it into place with your hands.
