If the audio system and infotainment of your Kia Sonet are experiencing serious software issues, you can quickly resolve them by performing a simple factory reset. Be aware that this procedure will erase all personal settings, which will need to be reactivated afterward. First, turn on both the vehicle's ignition and the audio system. Then, press the "Setup" button located on the left side of the radio and find the "Update" option at the bottom. There are two empty spaces next to it. Click on the right empty space three times, then four times on the left space, and one last time on the right space to activate the secret options. Finally, enter the security code and click on "factory reset".
