To cover the mirrors of your Lancia Ypsilon with carbon film (which you can find on Amazon for £10.99 for a roll of 30x152 cm, with free shipping), first heat the mirror with a heat gun (a regular hairdryer will work fine). Apply the film to the mirror, taking care to avoid creases - do not rush, this is a precision job - heat it gradually to facilitate the application of the film, shaping it to fit the mirror.

Once it is well applied, cut it with a craft knife, being careful not to press too hard to avoid damaging the mirror's bodywork. Remove any excess film and tuck the surplus into the seams.
