Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Lexus IS MK 2 - Years 2005-2013
Part: Cabin air filter

This guide shows how to replace the cabin air filter in your car. It is a procedure that should be carried out periodically and is essential for the health of the driver and passengers. You can find good quality filters at reasonable prices in accessory shops, which are easy to install with a bit of manual dexterity. The filter can be found at the front on the passenger side, just below the glove compartment. To access it, you will need to remove the relevant panel, which will need to be unclipped from its position. Carefully pull it out and lower it gently. Once this panel is removed, you will notice a cylindrical-shaped housing. This is the filter housing. After removing the cover, you will see the cabin air filter.
