Below is a description of the steps necessary to replace the battery of the key fob for the vehicle. First, extract the emergency key by pressing the small button on the side of the fob. Then, use a small screwdriver to pry in the space between the halves of the fob and help lift the shell with your fingers once the clips are released. At this point, you will have access to the battery compartment. Use a fingernail to remove the battery from its compartment and take the new battery (model CR 2032), placing it in the compartment with the positive terminal facing up. Finally, snap the two halves back together to close the fob.
