Position the scooter on the centre stand, then use a screwdriver to remove the screws securing the air filter container. After removing the securing screws, uncover the lid and remove the air filter. Install a new one if damaged or reposition the old one after cleaning it (use an air compressor). Finally, close the air filter container and tighten the screws with the screwdriver.

How to Replace the Drive Belt of the Piaggio Vespa 50 ET2

Today, we will discover the instructions that will allow us to dismantle and replace the drive belt of the Piaggio Vespa 50 ET2. First, place the scooter on the stand and start unscrewing all the fixing screws found on the side of the transmission cover to remove it; then unscrew the screw of the fan and the variator, subsequently removing the drive belt, as shown in the video. At this point, install the new toothed belt, as well as the original one, correctly refitting the fan and finally the side cover of the transmission.
