In order to remove the inner panel of the rear tailgate on the Mercedes GLK, you need to open the tailgate so that you can access the screws located at the bottom of the tailgate, near the actuator. Once these screws have been loosened, you can then detach the molding at the bottom of the panel so that you can then leverage to detach the panel at the top. At this point, you can insert the new replacement piece so that it is fixed and then insert the molding.
