Replacing Mirror and Cover on Mercedes Cars

To remove the damaged mirror, simply tilt it using the appropriate switches in the cabin and lever it from behind with a plastic wedge, working slowly. Once removed from its housing, disconnect the connectors. If you need to replace the rear cover protection, tilt the mirror so there is space in the lower outer corner, unclip the protection at this point (see video), and then remove it from behind, again using a plastic wedge. This will also remove the indicator present on the protection.
