Removing the Door Panel on a Mini

Model: Mini Mini R53, R52, R50 - Years 2001-2007

To maintain the door of the Mini, remove the plastic panel. Use a lever around the handle frame to pry it off. Next, remove the plastic cover of the door opening lever from the door panel. After that, unscrew the screws inside and around the handle with a screwdriver, detach it from the door using a plastic or metal lever, and disconnect any power cables. Once the panel is free from the screws, pull it away with your hands. Disconnect the electrical cables connecting the buttons.
