In this short and simple video, discover how to disassemble and replace the battery of the electronic key remote on a Mini Cooper F55 and F56. First, take your remote and start by removing the physical key from inside it; then lever off the sides of the rear cover using something thin to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the battery and replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); insert it the right way round and follow the video to the end for reassembly!
