How to Reset the Oil Change Light on a Mini R50?

Model: Mini Mini R53, R52, R50 - Years 2001-2007
Part: Service warning light

On the dashboard of the Mini R50, next to the speedometer, there is a button needed to reset the oil change light. To perform this operation, the instrument panel must be on. After turning the key to the ON position, press and hold the button until the display next to it shows the word "reset". At this point, release it and press it again, this time until the word on the display starts to flash. Release it and press it one last time to complete the reset procedure.
