How to replace the chain of the MV Agusta Brutale 675

The guide shows how to replace the MV Agusta Brutale 675 catenda. The replacement kit includes the chain, the crown on the wheel and the pinion on the engine. To understand when to replace the kit, two tests can be carried out: the first consists in seeing the play of the chain links on the crown, if it is excessive it must be replaced; the second test consists in checking the tension of the chain with respect to the rotation of the crown, if it is very variable the kit will have to be changed. Some special tools are needed for this. After placing the motorcycle on the stand, engage the gear and disconnect the gearbox connector. Using a size 8 wrench, remove the shift rod. With the Torx 30, remove the sprocket cover and turn the wheel so that the lock washer can be straightened. With the torque wrench set at 140 Nm, loosen the pinion bolt and finish unscrewing it with the ratchet wrench. Unscrew the crown nuts. With the stretcher, having identified the false link, proceed with the extraction of the chain and sprocket; remove the crown. Check the correct size of the replacement kit. Perform a cleansing of the affected area. Refit the crown and tighten the nuts; grease the side of the pinion that will come into contact with the oil seal; loosen the two swingarm bolts and, with the wrench for the chain tension, bring the hub to the end of travel. In more recent models there is a screw on the caliper support bracket, to be loosened, to allow the chain to be adjusted. After inserting the chain on the upper part of the crown, bring it into position by sliding it. Reconnect the chain with the appropriate tool. With the tension wrench, bring the chain to the correct tension and tighten the two screws on the swingarm. Engage the gear and, after having greased it, insert the new safety washer on the pinion; after applying thread locker, install the pinion nut and tighten. Bend the lock washer and refit the sprocket cover with thread locker on the screws. Refit the shift rod and reconnect the shift connector. Tighten the crown nuts. Pay attention to the tightening torque of the bolts; it is reported in the manual.

How do you replace the air filter of the Benelli RFS 150i?

The procedure for replacing the air filter on the Benelli RFS 150i involves opening the underseat compartment so that the seat itself can be placed in a vertical position: once it has been lifted, it will be possible to loosen the screws that fix it to its housing, so that it can be removed. In the front part of the underseat compartment, you will find the air filter box, which will be opened so that the filter can be removed from inside its housing. In this way, it will be possible to insert the new replacement piece, and then reinstall the panel.
