Replacing the Mirror Cap on a Nissan Qashqai

Model: Nissan Qashqai J10 - Years 2006-2014

Use a plastic trim tool to lever under the mirror cap, tilting it and detaching it from its housing. Before completely removing it, disconnect the heating wires. Move the internal clips of the cap as shown in the video, gradually detaching it. To fit the new cap, the process is much simpler. Just press it in with your hands until it clicks into place. Reconnect the wires to the glass and refit it by pressing with your hands, and you're done. As you can see, this is a fairly simple operation.
