To extend the life of the tyres, it is recommended to rotate them every 6,000-9,000 miles to ensure even wear. The idea is to swap the front tyre with the rear. Once the tyres are rotated, check the pressures according to the instructions in the owner's manual or on the label located on the driver's side door. If necessary, deflate or inflate the tyres, then drive a few hundred metres to allow the sensors to recognise the actual inflation pressure. If the pressures have been set correctly, the TPMS light will remain off.
