To remove the radio from the console, insert the special tools into the side slots of the radio in order to release the retaining springs. These tools are normally supplied with the car radio but are still easily available. At this point remove by pressing sideways on the two hooks and extract the radio from the compartment by carefully disconnecting the connectors. To re-install the equipment, simply reconnect the connectors and gently slide the radio into the compartment, taking care not to pinch the electrical cables. Turn on the radio and perform a perfect function test.
