How do you replace the transmission of the Vespa GTS 125?

In order to replace the transmission of the Vespa GTS 125, you need to loosen the screws that fix the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, in correspondence with the rear wheel. Two casings will be positioned here: the one for the transmission will be the one at the bottom. By unscrewing the screws that fix it, the crankcase cover can be removed and the underlying components can be identified. By unscrewing the nut that fixes the variator and the one that fixes the clutch, it will be possible to remove both components together with the belt placed around them. Now all the removed parts can be reassembled, closing everything by fixing the casing.

How to change the gearbox oil of the Piaggio Vespa Px 125 - Lml Star 125

Today we will see, in this short and simple guide, how to replace the transmission oil of the Piaggio Vespa Px 125, but also of the Lml Star 125 2-stroke. First of all we put the central stand and we start to unscrew the oil vent bolt of the transmission, which we find on the right side casing; to do this we use a 10 mm socket wrench, letting the oil drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the filler screw, in order to let the oil flow more quickly; then we finally top up, following the video to the end!
