How to deactivate the Hill Holder on the Renault Clio IV

Model: Renault Clio MK 4, Clio 4, Clio IV - Years 2012-2019
Part: Instrument cluster

In this video we see how to permanently deactivate (so not every time we get in the car) the Hill Holder on the Clio IV: we locate the EOBD socket, insert our OBD11 and insert the key, without turning it on; connect the "V-Link" to Wi-Fi and open the DDT4 All, accepting the various options: select the vehicle of our competence and then search for the HSA function in the ECU configuration and choose the "not implemented" function from the drop-down menu. At this point we can close everything. The Hill Holder system will be permanently deactivated and to start again uphill we will have to pull the handbrake again (happy us!).

How to Remove the Gear Knob on an Opel Astra

How to replace the gear knob on an Opel Astra? Follow these steps: use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame (if you need to replace it). Grip the knob with both hands and pull it upwards (with a strong and decisive motion) until it comes off the gear stick. For installation: fit the new gaiter and position it on the centre tunnel, take the new knob and push it onto the stick, tightening it until fully threaded. Test the movement of the stick on the centre tunnel to ensure the knob is correctly fitted.
