How do you disassemble the airbag of a Renault Kangoo MK2?

Model: Renault Kangoo FW, FC, MK 2 - Years 2007-2021
Part: Airbag

Let's see how to disassemble the airbag of a Renault Kangoo MK2. Remember that when performing this operation, it is necessary to disconnect the negative pole of the battery: unlike most car models, which have two airbag attachment points, requiring you to turn the steering wheel twice to find the points where to insert a small screwdriver that can release the closing springs, the Renault Kangoo has only one attachment point. We must therefore keep the steering wheel straight, and with a small screwdriver, we must enter the hole located on the back of the steering wheel, allowing us to access the closing spring. Once inside, press firmly, and the airbag module will release. Pull it towards you and, using a larger screwdriver, disconnect the electrical connector of the module.
