To remove the airbag and then the steering wheel from a Renault Kangoo MK2, you need to get a small screwdriver with a thin tip. First of all, always remember, when working on the airbag, to disconnect the negative pole of the battery, to avoid any danger of explosion. Keeping the steering wheel straight, insert this screwdriver into the small hole located just behind the steering wheel body, in front of the dashboard. In this way, we will lever on the airbag retaining spring, which will detach. Remove it, disconnecting the electrical connector and then with a socket wrench of the appropriate size, remove the central steering wheel retaining bolt.
