Replacing the Battery on Renault Clio 2

Model: Renault Clio Clio 2, MK 2 - Years 1998-2005

Lift the bonnet and insert the support rod. As you can now see, the battery is located on your right. Using a 13 mm spanner, unscrew and then disconnect the negative terminal (always disconnect the negative terminal first). After that, unscrew and disconnect the positive terminal with the same spanner. Using a long socket spanner, also 13 mm, unscrew the bolt securing the battery to the car. Remove the battery from its location by pulling on the designated handle. Insert the new battery and proceed in reverse for reassembly: secure it with the 13 mm bolt, connect the terminals, and you're done.
