To reset the service light on the Renault Megane, insert the card into the slot, press the button to turn on the car without pressing any pedals, and press the button at the far right of the wiper stalk until the screen with the spanner appears. Hold the button at the far right of the wiper stalk until it flashes and the new mileage appears, turning off the service light or message; at this point, you can turn off the car's ignition, turn it back on, and check that the service light or message does not reappear.
