How to Change Your Car's Shock Absorbers

Model: Renault Laguna MK III, Laguna 3, MK 3, Laguna III, X91 - Years 2007-2015
Part: Shocks

After several miles, the shock absorbers of your car may wear out and need replacing. Shock absorbers serve to cushion the vehicle's bumps and enhance safety. This guide shows you how to replace them yourself without the help of a mechanic. Once you have purchased the new ones, lift the car with a jack and remove the wheel, ensuring all bolts holding it in place are removed. At this point, open the bonnet by operating the appropriate lever and remove all four screws positioned above the shock absorber. Next, remove the two screws located on the half shaft and also the one on the stabiliser that runs parallel to the shock absorber, which will then come away easily.
