How to Replace the Key Fob Battery on a Seat Leon?

To replace the battery in the key fob of a Seat Leon, lift the key by pressing the designated button located at the top of the device: by pressing this button, you will gain access to the key housing, using a thin object to lever it open. This will allow you to detach the cover on the back of the device, giving you access to the underlying battery: this battery must be removed from its housing and replaced with a new spare part, then reattach the cover.
