How to Remove the Third Brake Light on the Seat Leon MK3

Removing the third brake light on the Seat Leon MK3 requires caution, as the lens is quite fragile. Use a trim tool set and a flat screwdriver. Start by prying at the top edge of the light with a wide tool, inserting it at a point where there is some play. Proceed slowly, releasing the plastic clips along the top edge. Once the top is free, move to the bottom edge, where there are metal clips. Insert the tool from one side and gently pry to release them. When the light is loose, slide it out sideways. Disconnect the electrical connector (by pressing the latch) and the water tube (if present), removing the C-clip. The light is now free. Reassemble in reverse order, ensuring the clips snap into place.
