A thin layer of adhesive is applied across the entire surface of the panoramic roof of the 2004 Smart Fortwo, protecting the bodywork from various weather agents, dust, and potential impacts. However, after many years, it may show excessive signs of wear and can gradually peel away, causing an unsightly appearance. To completely remove it and possibly replace it, you simply need a small, thin, and delicate spatula. Gently scrape away all the adhesive present and finally, wash the roof to remove any rubber residues.
