How do you replace the windshield of the Suzuki GSX 1250 FA?

In order to replace the windshield of the Suzuki GSX 1250 FA, you need to loosen the screws that fix the instrument panel to its housing, so that it can be removed by disconnecting the connectors at the back. Once the panel has been removed, you can use an object to pry and detach the outer fairing located below the windshield, thus making its fastening screws accessible. These screws can now be loosened, completely removing the windshield from its seat and inserting the new replacement piece, which will be fixed with the corresponding screws.

First of all we put the central stand to our scooter and start unscrewing the oil vent bolt which we find under the engine, letting it drain in a container for about ten minutes; then we clean the vent plug thoroughly before screwing it on. Now unscrew the filler screw and top up again, using the oil with the right characteristics (indicated in the use and maintenance booklet).
