How to Replace the Key Battery on the Suzuki Lapin

If you notice that you cannot open the doors with the remote key, the key battery is likely dead and needs to be replaced. Here's how to do it: First, extract the emergency key using a screwdriver to pry at the joint between the two halves of the key and remove the rear cover. Under the cover is the electronic board; lift it to access the battery compartment at the back. Use a screwdriver to pry out the old battery and take the new CR 2032 battery, placing it in the compartment with the positive side facing up. Finally, reattach the remote cover and insert the emergency key back.
