Remove the securing clamp that holds the bracket to the base of the battery, and clean the terminals of the cables with a wire brush before installing the new battery.

Position the new battery, secure the bracket, and reconnect the terminals in reverse order: first the positive and then the negative. The most critical part is choosing the correct battery, so you need to identify the BCI code on the old battery (e.g., 24F or 35) and the CCA which indicates the cold cranking amps (e.g., 600/750 A).
