How to Replace the Battery in a Suzuki Grand Vitara

Model: Suzuki Grand Vitara MK 2 - Years 2005-2015

To replace the battery in a Suzuki Grand Vitara, first lift the bonnet and secure it in place with the prop rod. The battery is located on the left side of the engine bay; using a 10mm socket, undo the nuts securing the negative terminal, then do the same for the positive terminal. Next, remove the nuts securing the support bracket above the battery and take it off. Extract the old battery, clean the base, and insert the new battery. Connect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal. Finally, refit the support bracket above the battery.
