In this guide, we will discover the instructions that will allow us to dismantle and possibly replace the variator of the Sym ADX 125 scooter. First, place the scooter on the centre stand and begin to dismantle and remove the side cover of the transmission by unscrewing all the securing screws; then unscrew the central nut of the fan to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the drive belt and then the variator, replacing it with a new one if necessary; correctly reassemble the belt and the fan, installing the transmission cover.
