How do you open the fuel door of the Toyota Yaris?

In order to open the fuel door of the Toyota Yaris, you need to go inside the cabin, so that you can locate the lever that allows you to unlock the fuel door mechanism: this mechanism is located immediately below the seat, on the side of it. Once this lever has been pulled, you will notice that the fuel door is locked: then you can open it completely and unscrew the cap of the underlying tank so that you can top up with the necessary amount of fuel.
